The Lord Will Deliver You From All Afflictions

Man in Affliction

The 7th Day of 18 Days of Fasting – The Lord Will Deliver You From All Afflictions.

Look upon our affliction and plead our cause,
And redeem us speedily for your name’s sake,
For you are a mighty redeemer.
Blessed are you, O Lord, the redeemer of Israel.”
The Amidah – 18 Benedictions – Prayer 7

You can find so many comforting words in the Word of God. No matter what you are facing right now, there is a word of comfort in the Bible. I love this verse, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” – Psalm 34:19

Pay attention at the end it says, the Lord delivers you out of them all. Does it say, “delivers out of a few”? No, it doesn’t! He delivers YOU, “out of them ALL”. Even when bad things happen, the Lord will save you and not let you be defeated. Even when you face tough circumstances, God has promised He will not let you be defeated by what you face but He will rescue you from what oppresses you.

What is Affliction?

Here are some descriptions of the word “affliction” – that which causes bodily pain or mental distress, the state of being in pain, distress or trouble, poverty, national calamities, something that makes you suffer.

Our God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. When we cry out to the Lord, God of our fathers, hears our voice, looks on our affliction, our labour and our oppression and sends help in our greatest times of need.

Numerical Value of Hebrew Words

I like how Hebrew words play a very important part in understanding the meaning of the words.

Numbers are very important in the Bible. Each Hebrew letter has got its number. When you take a word put the numbers together, you will find the Gematria of the word.

Pay and Numbers

In Deuteronomy 26:7 it says,

Then we cried out to the Lord God of our fathers, and the Lord heard our voice and looked on our affliction and our labor and our oppression.”

The word “our voice” in Hebrew “kolenu” – קֹלֵנוּ.
Letter ק “Kuf” = 100
Letter ל “Lamed” = 30
Letter נ “Nun” = 50
Letter וּ “Vav” = 6
TOTAL = 186

Then we take another word from the same verse “affliction”,  in Hebrew – “aneynu” – עָנְיֵ֛נוּ

Letter ע “Ayin” = 70

Letter נ “Nun” = 50
Letter י “Yud” = 10
Letter נ “Nun” = 50
Letter וּ “Vav” = 6
TOTAL = 186

From everlasting to everlasting” which is stated in Psalm 90:2. That word has a numerical value of 186.

Lightning travels at 186,000 miles per second. The light travels around the earth 25,000 miles in one second. Ezekiel 1:14 gives us a clue of how many rounds per second God’s angels can travel around the earth. “And the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning.”  NKJV. The angles can travel around the earth 7 and a half times in one second. That’s how fast an angel can get to your problem. He can rescue you 7 and a half times in one second. I love God’s Word! It is so deep, so encouraging!

The word Golgotha, Greek Letter Number Equivalent to number 186.

Γολγοθᾶ
Letter Γ = 3
Letter O = 70
Letter λ = 30
Letter γ = 3
Letter O = 70
Letter θ = 9
Letter ᾶ = 1
TOTAL = 186

Golgotha was an affliction. Christ took your afflictions, pains, sorrows, poverty and set you free.

“Our voice”, “affliction”, “Golgotha” have the same numerical value. Isn’t it awesome? It gives us the clue, the understanding of what we must do when we are afflicted – we believe Jesus took our afflictions and we use our VOICE to tell demons, angels, ourselves, people, the whole world that we are free!

Jewish Year 5780 – Mouth

I wrote and spoke many times that the symbol of the Jewish Year 5780 is a mouth. Hebrew letter “Pey” is number 80. In the pictograph “Pey” looks like a mouth. This year is to declare your salvation, proclaim God’s liberation, speak out God’s deliverance. You need to use your voice.

It is the same with affliction. Your voice matters. In your affliction, you have to stand firm and declare the salvation of God!

William Branham Healing Story

I am reading a biography of William Branham. He was not only a faith healer but was a prophetic voice. He could tell people’s secret hearts.

Branham Stands Before a crowd at a Campaign Appearanced as Seen in A Man Sent From God 1950

In the beginning of his faith journey, he could not eat solid food and had to wear thick glasses because he was poisoned by gas. His stomach ached much of the time and without those glasses, he was almost blind. The food William ate was barley water and prune juice. He could not eat any solid food because according to the doctor’s word if he did, he would die.

Then he read, “All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” – Matthew 21:22. William had a new medicine – faith. He believed if the word said it, then it’s going to happen.

He asked his pastor to pray for his healing and anoint him with oil. After that action, he came home, announced his healing, and told his family that he would eat like the rest of the family.

Did William see the results immediately? No. Days passed, and he still suffered, but he did not give up. In the midst of his affliction, pain, he did not waver. He believed the word of God, not the symptoms and he used his mouth proclaiming his freedom and total restoration.

Then little by little his condition improved until he could eat anything with no pain. His eyesight was also restored to 20/20.

Restore Our Vision, God

Man with Binoculars 2020 Vision

We are in the year of 2020. I pray that my and your spiritual eyesight are restored to 20/20. I declare a perfect vision, spiritual and physical, in the Name of Jesus!

No matter what you are facing right now, you have to stand strong. Do not back off or give in, but go back on and follow through with God until you see the victory.

Ask and it will be given to you”, Jesus said.

Number 186 talks about using our voice when we are in affliction. William Branham’s life story is an example of him using the words of faith over his life, believing God’s word.

If you are in danger, the Lord will send His angel, who can deliver you 7 and a half times per second from any harm or injury. When you lift your voice in prayer, God, Who is from everlasting to everlasting, will deliver you out of ALL your afflictions. And ALL means ALL!  Amen.

    • Yes, Jean the Lord has delivered and will deliver! Our Father is faithful and He will help you. Isaiah 41:10 says, “Don’t be afraid, Jean, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Amen.
      Don’t be discouraged.

  3. An Apostle explained to me in 2016 that my damaged hair was due to an affliction. I didn’t understand the word affliction at that time. Today, Wednesday, 8th of April is the first time that I am understanding the break down of this word while I was reading your article. I like copying quotes and some minutes ago, exactly 14:30, I copied your quote with the image on Google.
    It reads “PROPHETIC WORD
THE LORD WILL DELIVER YOU FROM ALL AFFLICTIONS

I decided to look up what you had to say on the Bible scripture about affliction and here I am. Now, I’ve been hearing and reading lately, “All things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive” – Matthew 21:22.

I’ve read this Bible scripture before and I have heard it before but now it’s beginning to take on a new meaning for me and I am now sure that it’s the Holy Spirit Who is drawing my attention to this Bible scripture as of late. I now believe that there is something that I have to understand about this Bible scripture so that I can apply it in my life and make it work for me. I am hearing it from Kevin Zadai while listening to his YouTube video, I am reading this Bible scripture about it in my Bible, I am reading about it in Kenneth E Hagin books, as well as Steven K. Scott and now you and this Bible scripture is now really making me pay attention. You all are speaking the same thing to me. I have read this Bible scripture several times before but of recently my attention is being drawn to it. I really want to practice this Bible verse consciously. I am sure that I have applied this Bible scripture in my life many times before, but, I now realize that I wasn’t aware that I was doing so, but now I want to understand this Bible scripture for myself and properly apply it to my life. Now, I have been led to your page by the Holy Spirit and I read the same Bible scripture again.

Okay, I must believe in my heart that I have already received whatever it is that I am asking God for before I pray for it. I believe in my heart first without doubting and then I speak it out in prayer second. Without doubting. So, I believe in my heart without doubting that I have already received a healthy scalp and a full head of healthy and beautiful hair, it’s already mine. I also believe that I am in excellent health physically and in every area of my life. Thank You Father in Jesus name. It is done!

    • Hello Audrey,

Your trust in God’s promises is awesome! You’re following Matthew 21:22 by believing in your heart, without any doubt, that you’ve already received what you’re praying for. That’s powerful!

You’re asking for a healthy scalp, beautiful hair, and overall excellent health. Keep saying it with confidence: “It’s already mine!” Believe it in your heart first, then speak it out in prayer without doubting. You’re declaring, “It is done!” in Jesus’ name.

Your faith is inspiring. Keep trusting, keep speaking positively, and watch how God makes things happen in your life. Stay strong!

And remember, those who seek will find. May you find your restoration and wholeness!

      Blessings,
      Haly
