Revive Me Daily Prophetic Word – Today Choose Joy!

The scriptures tell us that we ALWAYS shall be full of joy in the Lord! (Philippians 4:4)

What does “always” mean? Always, at all times, on all occasions, no matter what – rejoice, for ever, without exception.

If the word says we must rejoice always, then the Lord knows we can live the life rejoicing. It is in our capacity. And it is entirely up to us, to rejoice or not. No one can make that choice for you.

Your worries will not bring any good into your life. Worries bring more worries. Just imagine, instead of worry, you choose to rejoice no matter what and you live that way. People will start noticing you. Why? Because it is quite difficult to find a person who is positive and joyful these days. You can be one of them. I can be one of them.

To live a joyful life is a choice! It is a daily decision.

Hebrew Word for “Joy”

The Hebrew word for joy is ‘Simcha’. It is the most used one in the Bible.

It consists of 4 letters: Sin, Mem, Chet, Hey. If you look at ancient Hebrew letters of this word, the meaning of the word “joy” would sound:

“You are separated from this world and delivered from the one who could destroy your life. Nothing can harm you because the Blood speaks. You are purified, delivered from all your enemies. You will drink deeply God’s healing water and be refreshed. Elsewhere there is chaos, but in your house, you will find peace and safety. As you raise your hands and worship Yahweh, He will reveal His heart to you and heal you.”

That is just a small portion of the meaning of the word “Simcha”.

Joy vs Happiness

The Lord has commanded us to rejoice. This is the command, not an emotion. Happiness is an emotion. In the morning you are happy because everything is going your way and according to your plan, but circumstances have changed and later you are upset things did not go your way. This is not how the Lord wants you to live. He wants you to enjoy your life and always overflow with joy!

“It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.” – Dale Carnegie

How To Be Always Joyful?

How can you always be full of joy? It is your faith in Christ. You trust in Him and believe that His promises for you are always “yes” and always “amen”. When you know Who is in you, God Himself and that you are in Him, in God, then no matter what you face your heart is steadfast trusting the Lord.

Building  your relationship with God is the key. You can’t build a close relationship with “Hello” and “Good Night”. The Lord knows you, do YOU know God, His heart for you, His desires and thoughts towards you, His plans for your future?

Start with small steps. Start with 5 minutes – you talk and then listen to God, write down your thoughts, feelings. Build up your relationship with God. It does not come automatically.  It takes time. Take your time, do not rush.

Today is your day! Today is your moment to learn from God and learn about God.

Today is your day! Today is your moment to CHOOSE to Rejoice no matter what, at all times, on all occasions, without exception.

Read again the meaning of the word “Simcha” or “Joy”. So much depth in this word. There is nothing to fear for God is with you! Make your future bright by choosing to rejoice, always be FULL of joy in the Lord!

Have a week full of joy!

Shalom & Blessings,

Haly
