Prophetic Word – God will Confuse Your Enemies

Prophetic Word for December 2020 God will Confuse Your Enemies - header

This is a Prophetic Word for December 2020, “God will Confuse Your Enemies.”

“I will send my terror ahead of you and create panic among all the people whose lands you invade. I will make all your enemies turn and run.” (Exodus 23:27)

In the midst of your enemies’ camp, there will be panic and terror.

And the Scripture which I would like to reflect on is from 2nd Chronicles 20.

Moab and Ammon, together with the Meunites, went to war against Jehoshaphat. They reached Ein-Gedi. So, they were very close to Jerusalem.

If you have been to Israel, you probably know that David hid from Saul there, and he also spared Saul’s life in Ein-Gedi. It’s quite a famous place in Israel.

Good News is Coming - Leaflet on The Tree

For Every Day There is God’s Promise for You

And here it was, an army from Edom was there, ready to fight against Israel and take the whole land. What was Jehoshaphat’s reaction to this news? He was afraid. In verse 3 it says, “Jehoshaphat was afraid.”

Are you like Jehoshaphat, afraid for the future of your life, your health, for the future of your children, afraid for the future of your house, the future of your job, future of your parents? Are you afraid for the future of your country, the future of the world, the future of cash, the future of your DNA, etc?

Jehoshaphat was afraid. God is not angry at us when we fear. When people were fearful, He reassured them that He was going to deliver them from all their troubles. Many times you read in the Word of God, “Do not fear.” It’s not by accident. The Lord knows what is in the heart of man.

The phrase “Fear not” was counted by others. And they say that “Do not be afraid” was written 365 times in the Word of God. For every day, there is the word “Fear NOT.” For every day, there is God’s promise. For every day, there is God’s comfort. For every day, there is God’s reassurance that He will never leave you.

Yes, Jehoshaphat was afraid. But I like his response. He did not turn to his advisers, to his knowledge, to his understanding, to his feelings, to his emotions, to his imaginations. He set himself determinedly to seek the Lord, and he asked God what to do.

Turn to God of all Possibilities

Jehoshaphat did not rush into a panic, into more fear, more frustration, more confusion. He sought the Lord and proclaimed a fast in all Judah.

What is fasting? Fasting is when you turn away from your problems and turn to God of all possibilities.

Maybe you’ve heard many times this expression, “face your problems.” But today the Lord is telling you, ”Turn away from your problems.” Do not let your problems overwhelm you, or your soul. If you allow your problems to rule, you will lose. Allow God to face your problems. Just imagine, God is telling you, “My child, stay there. I am going to face your problems.”

Seek the Lord for He is Closer than You Think He is

So, Jehoshaphat asked for the Lord’s help, and he proclaimed a fast in all Judah. They sought the Lord and focused their attention not on their problem but on God, Who was greater than all their problems.

Out of all the cities of Judah people came to seek the Lord, yearning for Him with all their desire. Look, it’s not about their enemies here. They did not come to focus on the problem, but their focus was God

Remind God of All His Promises Towards You

Then Jehoshaphat did something that we all have to do. He reminded God of His promises towards Judah.

2 Chronicles 20 5-12 AMPC
(2 Chronicles 20:8-12)

Are you also in that situation when you do not know what to do? Judah was in that threatening situation. But what they knew was God’s Word.

Have you got some promises of old to present before God? Bring them to God’s remembrance. The promises to Abraham are your promises too. The promises to David are your promises too. Take those promises and present yourself before the Lord. Tell Him what Jehoshaphat told, “God, I do not know what to do, but my eyes are upon You.”

God is the Answer to ALL your Problems

The Lord did not keep silent. He spoke through Jahaziel and said, “Be not afraid or dismayed at this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s… You shall not need to fight in this battle; take your positions, stand still, and see the deliverance of the Lord [Who is] with you. Fear not nor be dismayed. Tomorrow, go out against them, for the Lord is with you.” (2 Chronicles 20:15-17)

There are two “Fear Not” here. One is for today, and another one is for the next day.

Give Thanks in the Midst of Difficulty

Then all fell down before the Lord, worshipping and praising God with a very loud voice. (2 Chronicles 20 18:19)

When you are surrounded by difficult situations, giving thanks is very important. You turn away from the threatening nonsense, from voices of accusation and humiliation, and turn into praising God, worshipping Him, yearning for Him with all your desire. That’s the only way, my friend. But what do we do?

We go and fight. We fight against python spirit, Jezebel’s spirit, we fight against dragon spirit, we fight against our city’s spiritual forces. Then those who lead us to fight are wounded, and we are wounded with them.

Too many who are reading this, are wounded.

We complicate life because we have not learned that there is simplicity in everything. And our first and main priority should be to stay calm, be in peace, and praise God during good times and not good times. There could be some worrying things around us we can’t control, but we should not allow them to overwhelm us.

The Word says that God gives us the victory. He makes us conquerors through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord did it not just for our yesterday. The victory is for every day, like “Fear Not” is for every day.

That’s who you are. You can try to add something, but God’s grace is continuously sufficient in you. His grace is there, and it is available every day. Do you remember what I said, 365 “Fear not” passages cover every day of your life?

Praise the Lord, not the Problems

When you come before the Lord, turn away from your problems, and turn to God Who is bigger than your problems, something amazing will happen.

Jehoshaphat did exactly what the Lord told him to do through the prophet. He and his people rose early and went out.

That was their time to GO OUT! Their hearts were ready, and they were not afraid. God strengthened them in their weakness. They needed that time to bring to the Lord their thoughts, their desires, their ambitions, their plans, and focus on the Only One and true God, Who was their desire filler.

What Jehoshavat told his people is precious. He said, “Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe and remain steadfast to His prophets, and you shall prosper.” (verse 20)

God speaks all the time. He is not silent. Sometimes we have a feeling that it’s God, but we are still not sure. When we do not know what to do, the Lord will send His prophets to confirm His Word or give more clarity on what to do next. Its

God spoke through Jahaziel and encouraged Judah. God will send people into your life who will encourage you, comfort you, and show you how to be prosperous.

It’s Your Time to Prosper

Then Jehoshaphat appointed singers, who went out before the army saying, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever!” And when they began to sing and praise God, the Lord set ambushments against the men of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir. Judah’s enemies destroyed one another. Judah did not need to do anything. And not only that, Judah took for themselves so much spoil, with no fight.

Hey, three days they were gathering the spoil! Praise brings abundance!

December 2020-March 2021 – Have Peace Within

The Lord is telling us that from December this month through March to have peace within and not fear bad news or dread of what may come. You know that we, Christians, who suppose to bring joy, can bring fear into man’s hearts. Be aware of what you hear and who you listen to!

Do not absorb negativity. Jehoshovat would just absorb that bad news that was brought to him by his people, and it would kill him, his family, and his people.

Instead, he closed his physical ears and opened his spiritual ears to hear the Lord’s voice.

Faith Over Fear - Blocks

The Lord is telling us not to fear, and not to be afraid or dismayed, for it’s His battle, not ours. Our position during these few months – December, January, February, and March is to stand still and see the deliverance of the Lord. May your heart be firm and secure in your faith in Christ.

We will see our enemies destroyed themselves in confusion. This month and the months to come, avoid, “I am confused.” This false statement, “I am confused” does not belong to you. You are a child of God, and you know Father’s voice. And if you do not understand something, God is going to send His prophets your way to confirm His word and give you further instructions on what to do.

In Proverbs 26:27 it says, “Whoever digs a pit will fall into it; if someone rolls a stone, it will roll back on them.”

The Lord has promised that He will make all your enemies turn and run. In confusion, they will run and in confusion, they will turn their own evil ideas, evil desires unto themselves!

God is Comforting you Today with those words, “Do Not Fear!” Stand Still, praise God, sing with a loud voice and you will see your deliverance will come!

“So God’s rest is there for people to enter, but those who first heard this good news failed to enter because they disobeyed God. So God set another time for entering his rest, and that time is today.” (Hebrews 4:6-7)

Today, receive your rest, and may God arise, and may your enemies be scattered before you in utter confusion!

I Hope this Word has Blessed you. What is the Lord Telling you for December month?

Shalom!

Haly
