Be Confident in God During Troubled Times | Haly Inspiration

Have you ever felt there was no one by your side, but only you? You feel frustrated, looking for answers as to why certain things are happening. Inside you know God said He will never leave you, but you still aren’t 100% sure.

This indeed happens to everyone. It happened to me. I knew God was there but sometimes felt forsaken, like He didn’t hear me.

We all go through desert times of feeling abandoned and alone. Life often doesn’t make sense. We cry out to God for help but hear only silence. We wonder if He is really there and if He actually cares.

The enemy wants us to doubt God’s love and that He is right here with us. The truth is, God is closer than our breath, even when our emotions tell us otherwise. 

Hebrews 13:5b-6 assures us:

“I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!” – Hebrews 13:5b-6 AMP

Let’s Look at Reassuring Promises in Hebrews 13:5:

1 Promise: You are Never Alone – Absolutely Guaranteed!

God has made an incredible promise directly to you: “I will never leave you!” (Hebrews 13:5).

Think about what this means. No matter where you go in life, or how difficult your circumstances are, God assures you of His constant presence. When you feel overwhelmed and alone, He is right there with you, holding your hand, guiding your steps.

On your darkest days when depression sinks in and friends are nowhere to be found, God’s Spirit remains with you, ready to comfort and counsel. He will never abandon you even for a moment.

When challenges arise and you face critical decisions without clear answers, you are not left to figure it out on your own. God’s wisdom is available to you. He promises to direct your paths and lead you to what is best.

Even if you stray from Him, He does not give up on you. He patiently waits with open arms, ready to put you back on the right path. His love perseveres forever.

So rest confidently in this promise. You never have to fear being deserted, because God pledged to be your ever-present help and friend!

2 Promise: You are Not Forsaken – Incredible!

You will NEVER be forsaken! This incredible promise from God leaves no room for doubt.

Even when you feel completely alone – He is there. Even when friends turn their backs – He remains constant. Even when you make mistakes and poor choices – His love persists.

Maybe you feel like God has forgotten you in your current season of hardship. Perhaps you cry out to Him but hear only silence. Let this promise soak deep into your spirit: You are NOT forsaken!

God sees your pain. He understands your frustration and fear. You may not sense Him in the ways you hoped, but make no mistake, He is right by your side in the midst of the storm.

You are His beloved child. Your name is etched into the palm of His hand. He will never, ever give up on you. His commitment to you is unbreaking and forever.

So lift your eyes to the One who holds you securely. Be confident that He could never forsake you, even for a second. You are deeply loved, completely known, and always cared for by your Heavenly Father.

3 Promise: God Who Supports and More – No Doubt About It!

God doesn’t merely support you from a distance – He is INVOLVED in your life! Hebrews 13:6 says He will never leave you without support. But even more than that, He promises to never leave you helpless.

Imagine you are climbing a mountain. A supportive friend may cheer you on from the bottom. But God does so much more! He takes your hand and climbs with you, empowering you to make it through the treacherous parts.

When challenges arise, He doesn’t just stand by – He infuses you with His strength so you can withstand the winds of adversity. He guides you around dangerous pitfalls and obstacles that could make you stumble.

God doesn’t only offer encouragement – He imparts confidence. He doesn’t only give advice – He provides the wisdom and clarity needed to make tough decisions.

Whatever you face, you do not have to rely on your own feeble strength. God’s mighty power works miracles in and through you! He will not leave you helpless, because His Spirit lives inside you.

You serve a God who goes far beyond just supportive words. He takes action in your life. He gets involved at the deepest level, working things out for your good. And He promises to give you everything you need to overcome and succeed!

4 Promise: No Disappointment in Sight – Count on It!

God makes an air-tight promise in Hebrews 13:6 – He will never let you down. No matter what happens, He will come through for you!

Perhaps you’ve been disappointed by others in the past. People make mistakes and let you down, even when they have good intentions. But God is faithful and true to His word.

When you put your hope in Him, you can be certain He will not fail you. Even when things don’t go as expected, you can trust He is working for your good.

God will provide for your needs, even in desperate times. He will give you strength to make it through trials. He will guide you to the right choices when the way forward seems unclear. You may not understand all His ways, but you can count on His faithfulness. 

So place your confidence fully in your Heavenly Father. Let go of doubts and past disappointments. God’s truth remains – He will never, ever let you down! You are safe in His hands!

Lean on God’s Unchanging Presence

What an amazing gift to know God’s promises to never leave us, forsake us, or let us down! No matter what happens in life, we can find confidence in His constant presence and faithfulness.

May this truth soak deep into your spirit today. Let it cast out all fear, uncertainty and loneliness. God is with you always! He will not abandon you in the storm.

Dear God, thank You for promising to always be by our side. Help us to trust in Your faithful presence. Remind us of Your unfailing love when we feel afraid. Give us courage to step out in confidence, knowing You will never let us down. Amen. 💕🌻

Lean fully on the One who gave His life for you. He is your rock in every storm. You are deeply loved, completely known, and never alone!
