Revive Me Daily Prophetic Word – You are Efficient

Revive Me Daily Prophetic Word You are Efficient headers - Man Scatters Grain

The Lord is saying to you, “You are Efficient!”

I have finished reading the Book of Exodus today. The Lord has highlighted the word – ‘shovel’.

There are three meanings of the word “shovel” in the Bible. But I would like to talk about the one mentioned in Exodus 27:3, “Also you shall make its pans to receive its ashes, and its shovels.”

A Shovel was a very useful instrument during daily service. By shovel, the ashes were scattered outside the tabernacle of meeting. This word consists of 2 Hebrew letters Yud and Ayin.

Letters – Yud and Ayin

Letter Yud is the smallest letter in the Hebrew Aleph-Beth, but it carries a huge significance. In the pictograph, the letter Yud looks like a hand Hebrew Letter Yud Pictograph. It represents the hand of God. Sometimes, we do not see the hand of God over our lives. Maybe some of you think that He has forgotten you. I would like to encourage you today, even if it looks like nothing is happening, the Lord’s hand is still there to help you. His arm is not too powerless to save you. He is always available.

In Isaiah 41:10 God says, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The Lord is with you and His hand will uphold you.

The pictograph for the letter Ayin looks like an eyeHebrew Pictograph of Letter Ayin. God not only upholds you with His right hand and sends His blessings unto your way, but He is also watching over you.

In 2 Chronicles it says that the eyes of the Lord search the whole earth. His eyes are always searching. Why? To strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. The Lord’s eyes are watching and searching to strengthen you and show His great power in helping you!

That’s our God!

Both letters, Yud and Ayin talk about humility. You might hear a lot about the menorah, the Ark of the Covenant, the table of showbread, the veil… but not a lot about a shovel. The shovel may be in the eyes of man as an insignificant tool but in God’s eyes, it carries a huge significance. God mentioned it in His Word and if He mentions something – pay attention!

Maybe you feel you are insignificant or ineffective. But the Lord is saying to you – you are not useless. You are important, effective and significant in His eyes. He talks about you all the time. He thinks about you all the time.

If we go a little deeper into our research, there are 2 Hebrew root words connected with those two letters and have 2 meanings:

  • Efficient
  • To be of use, beneficial, to profit

So, who is insignificant here? You are efficient. You are beneficial. Whatever your hand does, it profits.

That’s a small study of the word shovel.

I hope this message will help you to look at yourself through God’s eyes and know that He is with you. He is watching you and He will help you with His Mighty hand and powerful arm!

I pray you will see yourself through the eyes of God. May the eyes of your heart be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints! Amen. (Ephesians 1:18)
